The Beech is a home that follows the sun. Morning light spills across the open gathering spaces and softens as the day moves, so the rooms you live in feel different — and right — at every hour. It's the kind of home where you naturally slow down: where a quiet corner invites you to linger and the whole house seems built around the rhythm of an ordinary, well-lived day.

The address you saw on Zillow is simply where this listing was anchored — the Beech isn't tied to that spot or to any single community. This plan can be built two ways: on a lot you already own, or on a property Paramount has identified across the DC metro. Paramount evaluates hundreds of lots, teardowns, and aging homes throughout the region for potential acquisition — quiet, ongoing research most buyers never have a window into. You're not buying someone else's house. You're building yours. Tell us where you want to build.

Why the Beech
  • A light-filled, open gathering space where the kitchen, dining, and living areas flow together for everyday life and easy entertaining.
  • Authentic Arts & Crafts details — natural materials, honest lines, and built-in craftsmanship that make the home feel rooted and timeless.
  • A flexible main-level room that works as a private home office, a quiet study, or a guest retreat — designed around how you actually spend your days.
  • Finishes and fixtures tailored to your taste, from cabinetry and countertops to lighting and trim — so the home reflects your routines, not a builder's template.
  • A layout that adapts to your lot, letting natural light, outdoor views, and everyday flow be optimized for the specific site you build on.

How New Home Pricing Works

This price is based on our Protos Specifications and includes an estimated land allowance. Your actual investment depends on the lot — yours or one we've identified — along with site conditions, home size, and finishes.

Build it exactly as shown or change every detail — the strategy call is where we put real numbers together based on your priorities.

Here's how the process works. It's three distinct phases, each with a purpose:

Phase 1

Design & Selections

This is where your home takes shape. Plans are created or modified by our in-house architects. You choose finishes, fixtures, and layout — or let our design team handle it for you.

Phase 2

Permitting

We submit your plans and manage the approval process with your local jurisdiction. This phase runs in the background while final details are locked in.

Phase 3

Construction

Your home is built. Every decision has already been made, and the build moves with purpose. Most homes are completed within 15 to 18 months from lot selection to move-in, though timelines can vary based on design complexity, client selections and decision-making, and local permitting.

Whether you want to choose every tile and finish yourself or let Paramount's design team handle the selections for you, we match the process to how you want to build.
