The Greenbrier is Arts & Crafts done right — honest materials, handcrafted details, and rooms that feel warm the moment you walk in. This is a home designed around the way you actually live, not the way a floor plan looks on paper. Build it as shown — or customize to fit your lifestyle.

Step inside the Greenbrier and the light finds you first — moving from room to room as the day turns, softening every craftsman detail it touches. The living spaces don't just connect; they breathe together, so a quiet morning coffee and a full house on game day feel equally at home. It's the kind of place that rewards a second look and a third — the trim, the joinery, the way the sightlines settle. This isn't a home you walk through. It's one you sink into.

The address you saw online is just where the listing is anchored — the Greenbrier isn't tied to one lot or one neighborhood. This plan can be built on your own lot, or on a property Paramount has identified across the DC metro. Paramount actively evaluates hundreds of lots, teardowns, and aging homes throughout the region for potential acquisition — quiet research most buyers never get a window into. So you have two paths: build the Greenbrier where you already own, or let us help you find where it should stand. Tell us where you want to build.

Why the Greenbrier
  • Light-filled living spaces that shift with the day — so the home feels different at breakfast, at golden hour, and after dark, but always feels like yours.
  • Authentic Arts & Crafts craftsmanship — built-in millwork, honest materials, and joinery details that make the home feel rooted and timeless, not trend-driven.
  • Open yet intimate flow — gathering spaces that handle a holiday crowd but never feel cavernous when it's just you and a book.
  • Finishes tailored to your lot and your routines — your morning light, your cooking habits, your daily rhythm shape the design, not the other way around.
  • Designed by Paramount's in-house architects — so every change you imagine, from a wider island to a reworked entry, is drawn in-house, not bolted on later.

How New Home Pricing Works

This price is based on our Protos Specifications and includes an estimated land allowance. Your actual investment depends on the lot — yours or one we've identified — along with site conditions, home size, and finishes.

Build it exactly as shown or change every detail — the strategy call is where we put real numbers together based on your priorities.

Here's how the process works. It's three distinct phases, each with a purpose:

Phase 1

Design & Selections

This is where your home takes shape. Plans are created or modified by our in-house architects. You choose finishes, fixtures, and layout — or let our design team handle it for you.

Phase 2

Permitting

We submit your plans and manage the approval process with your local jurisdiction. This phase runs in the background while final details are locked in.

Phase 3

Construction

Your home is built. Every decision has already been made, and the build moves with purpose. Most homes are completed within 15 to 18 months from lot selection to move-in, though timelines can vary based on design complexity, client selections and decision-making, and local permitting.

Whether you want to choose every tile and finish yourself or let Paramount's design team handle the selections for you, we match the process to how you want to build.
