The Halbert is contemporary architecture that breathes — clean lines, walls of glass, and light that shifts with the day. A home shaped around how you actually live, not a builder's checklist. Build it as shown — or customize to fit your lifestyle.

Step inside the Halbert and the first thing you notice is the light — it pours through walls of glass, moving across open rooms as the day unfolds. Spaces flow into one another without walls or friction, so a quiet morning coffee and a full house on a Saturday night both feel effortless in the same room. This is a home that breathes with you, calm when you need it, alive when you want it. It doesn't just hold your routines — it elevates them.

Here's what Zillow doesn't make clear: the Halbert isn't tied to the address you saw in the listing — that's simply where the plan is anchored online. This is a home you build, and you have two ways to do it. Build it on a lot you already own, or build it on a property Paramount has identified across the DC metro. We're a builder that does its own work — quietly evaluating hundreds of lots, teardowns, and aging homes throughout the region for potential acquisition. You're not buying someone else's house. You're building yours. Tell us where you want to build.

Why the Halbert
  • Walls of glass that flood every room with natural light — so the home feels open and connected to the outdoors from sunrise to sunset.
  • Open-concept living where the kitchen, dining, and gathering spaces flow as one — perfect for everyday family life or hosting a crowd without anyone feeling boxed in.
  • Contemporary clean lines and finishes chosen around your taste, not a builder's standard package — every selection tailored to your lot and your daily routines.
  • Sun-filled spaces designed for the rhythm of your day — quiet, calm mornings and easy, effortless evenings in the same versatile rooms.
  • A flexible floor plan you can build as shown, adjust to fit your site, or take fully custom — so the home grows around your life instead of forcing you to adapt to it.

How New Home Pricing Works

This price is based on our Protos Specifications and includes an estimated land allowance. Your actual investment depends on the lot — yours or one we've identified — along with site conditions, home size, and finishes.

Build it exactly as shown or change every detail — the strategy call is where we put real numbers together based on your priorities.

Here's how the process works. It's three distinct phases, each with a purpose:

Phase 1

Design & Selections

This is where your home takes shape. Plans are created or modified by our in-house architects. You choose finishes, fixtures, and layout — or let our design team handle it for you.

Phase 2

Permitting

We submit your plans and manage the approval process with your local jurisdiction. This phase runs in the background while final details are locked in.

Phase 3

Construction

Your home is built. Every decision has already been made, and the build moves with purpose. Most homes are completed within 15 to 18 months from lot selection to move-in, though timelines can vary based on design complexity, client selections and decision-making, and local permitting.

Whether you want to choose every tile and finish yourself or let Paramount's design team handle the selections for you, we match the process to how you want to build.
