Step inside the Arden and the first thing you notice is the light — the way it moves through the main level and softens every room it touches. Spaces flow into one another without feeling cavernous, so a quiet morning coffee and a houseful of guests both feel right at home. It's the rare house that feels expansive and intimate at once. You don't decorate around the Arden — you simply live in it.

The address you saw on Zillow isn't a community — it's just where the listing was anchored. The Arden isn't tied to any single neighborhood or development; it's a plan designed to be built around you, wherever you want to live. That means two paths forward: build the Arden on your own lot, or build it on a property Paramount has identified across the DC metro. Paramount evaluates hundreds of lots, teardowns, and aging homes throughout the region for potential acquisition — quiet work that happens long before most properties surface anywhere. You're not buying someone else's house. You're building yours. Tell us where you want to build.

Why the Arden

  • Finishes selected for your daily rhythm, from a hardworking mudroom drop zone to a kitchen built around how you actually cook.
  • Clean modern farmhouse exterior that feels timeless on a tree-lined street or a contemporary infill lot alike.
  • A floor plan shaped to your lot's orientation, so the best light lands where you spend the most time.

How New Home Pricing Works

This price is based on our Protos Specifications and includes an estimated land allowance. Your actual investment depends on the lot — yours or one we've identified — along with site conditions, home size, and finishes.

Build it exactly as shown or change every detail — the strategy call is where we put real numbers together based on your priorities.

Here's how the process works. It's three distinct phases, each with a purpose:

Phase 1

Design & Selections

This is where your home takes shape. Plans are created or modified by our in-house architects. You choose finishes, fixtures, and layout — or let our design team handle it for you.

Phase 2

Permitting

We submit your plans and manage the approval process with your local jurisdiction. This phase runs in the background while final details are locked in.

Phase 3

Construction

Your home is built. Every decision has already been made, and the build moves with purpose. Most homes are completed within 15 to 18 months from lot selection to move-in, though timelines can vary based on design complexity, client selections and decision-making, and local permitting.

Whether you want to choose every tile and finish yourself or let Paramount's design team handle the selections for you, we match the process to how you want to build.
