The Madison brings back the warmth of true Arts & Crafts craftsmanship — honest materials, natural light, and rooms that feel grounded the moment you walk in. This isn't someone else's house. It's a home designed around the way you actually live. Build it as shown — or customize to fit your lot and your lifestyle. Build it as shown — or customize to fit your lot and your lifestyle. There's a moment when you step inside the Madison and the noise of the day quiets down — the light is doing the work. It pours through the living spaces at every hour, catching the grain of natural wood and the texture of honest materials, so the home feels settled and warm before a single piece of furniture arrives. This is the timeless, grounded character that production housing simply can't fake. You don't decorate your way into this feeling. You build it in from the ground up.

Here's what the Zillow listing doesn't make clear: the Madison isn't tied to the address you saw, and it isn't a plan in some development. That address is just where the listing gets pinned — the home itself can be built almost anywhere across the DC metro. You have two paths. Build it on a lot you already own, or build it on a property we've identified — because Paramount evaluates hundreds of lots, teardowns, and aging homes across the region for potential acquisition. Tell us where you want to build.

Why the Madison
  • Light-filled main living spaces designed so you're never reaching for a switch in the middle of the day — the architecture works with the sun, not against it.
  • Honest Arts & Crafts materials — natural wood, real texture, grounded detailing — chosen to age beautifully instead of looking dated in five years.
  • An in-house architectural team that can tailor room sizes, layouts, and flow to match your daily routines, your lot, and the way your family actually moves through a home.
  • Finishes selected for your life — the kitchen that fits how you cook, the spaces that fit how you gather — rather than whatever a builder mass-ordered for a hundred identical houses.
  • A timeless exterior with genuine craftsman character that stands apart on any street, whether your lot is in Bethesda, McLean, Arlington, or a quiet corner of NW Washington DC.

How New Home Pricing Works

The price you see includes an estimated land allowance. Your actual investment depends on the lot — yours or one we've identified — along with site conditions, home size, and finishes.

Build it exactly as shown or change every detail — the strategy call is where we put real numbers together based on your priorities.

Here's how the process works. It's three distinct phases, each with a purpose:

Phase 1

Design & Selections

This is where your home takes shape. Plans are created or modified by our in-house architects. You choose finishes, fixtures, and layout — or let our design team handle it for you.

Phase 2

Permitting

We submit your plans and manage the approval process with your local jurisdiction. This phase runs in the background while final details are locked in.

Phase 3

Construction

Your home is built. Every decision has already been made, and the build moves with purpose. Most homes are completed within 15 to 18 months from lot selection to move-in, though timelines can vary based on design complexity, client selections and decision-making, and local permitting.

Whether you want to choose every tile and finish yourself or let Paramount's design team handle the selections for you, we match the process to how you want to build.
