The Winston brings the soul of true craftsmanship into everyday life — warm woodwork, honest lines, and rooms that feel grounded the moment you walk in. Build it as shown — or customize to fit your lifestyle.

Step inside the Winston and the first thing you notice is the light — it moves through the home all day, pooling in the main living spaces by morning and stretching long across the woodwork by late afternoon. These rooms weren't laid out to fill a floor plan; they were shaped around the way a day actually unfolds, from quiet coffee to the easy gravity of evening when everyone drifts back toward the heart of the house. Nothing here feels showy or staged. It feels grounded, honest, and unmistakably yours.

The address you saw on Zillow isn't a community or a lot you're locked into — it's simply where the listing gets anchored. The Winston is a plan, and it can be built two ways: on a lot you already own, or on a property Paramount has identified across the DC metro. Paramount evaluates hundreds of properties — lots, teardowns, and aging homes — for potential acquisition throughout the region. So you're not buying someone else's house in someone else's neighborhood. You're building yours, in the location that fits your life. Tell us where you want to build.

Why the Winston
  • Light-filled living spaces designed around your daily rhythm — bright for morning routines, warm and gathered by evening.
  • Warm, honest woodwork and Arts & Crafts detailing that makes the home feel grounded and lived-in from day one — not staged for a showing.
  • An in-house architectural and design team that tailors finishes to your lot, your routines, and the way you actually live.
  • Open, connected main-floor living that keeps the household close — cooking, homework, and conversation all sharing the same easy gravity.
  • A home built from the ground up to your selections — so every material, color, and detail reflects your idea of home, not a builder's default.

How New Home Pricing Works

This price is based on our Protos Specifications and includes an estimated land allowance. Your actual investment depends on the lot — yours or one we've identified — along with site conditions, home size, and finishes.

Build it exactly as shown or change every detail — the strategy call is where we put real numbers together based on your priorities.

Here's how the process works. It's three distinct phases, each with a purpose:

Phase 1

Design & Selections

This is where your home takes shape. Plans are created or modified by our in-house architects. You choose finishes, fixtures, and layout — or let our design team handle it for you.

Phase 2

Permitting

We submit your plans and manage the approval process with your local jurisdiction. This phase runs in the background while final details are locked in.

Phase 3

Construction

Your home is built. Every decision has already been made, and the build moves with purpose. Most homes are completed within 15 to 18 months from lot selection to move-in, though timelines can vary based on design complexity, client selections and decision-making, and local permitting.

Whether you want to choose every tile and finish yourself or let Paramount's design team handle the selections for you, we match the process to how you want to build.
