Step inside the Salem and the first thing you feel is the light — it moves through honest, open spaces that feel both rooted and effortless, never showy. The clean lines and natural materials give every room a sense of calm permanence, the kind of warmth you settle into the moment you walk through the door. It's a home that quiets the noise of the day and gives your life room to breathe.

The address you saw online is simply where this plan is anchored — the Salem isn't tied to one lot or one neighborhood. It's a plan you can build two ways: on land you already own, or on a property Paramount has identified across the DC metro. Paramount evaluates hundreds of lots, teardowns, and aging homes throughout the region for potential acquisition — quiet research most buyers never get a window into. You're not buying someone else's house. You're building yours. Tell us where you want to build.

Why the Salem

  • A flexible main-level room that adapts to your life: a home office, a guest suite, a music room, or quiet space for aging parents
  • A primary retreat designed for genuine rest, with room to add the spa bath, walk-in closet, or sitting area that matches your routine
  • Designed by Paramount's in-house architects, so the layout can shift to suit your lot, your sightlines, and the way your days actually flow

How New Home Pricing Works

This price is based on our Protos Specifications and includes an estimated land allowance. Your actual investment depends on the lot — yours or one we've identified — along with site conditions, home size, and finishes.

Build it exactly as shown or change every detail — the strategy call is where we put real numbers together based on your priorities.

Here's how the process works. It's three distinct phases, each with a purpose:

Phase 1

Design & Selections

This is where your home takes shape. Plans are created or modified by our in-house architects. You choose finishes, fixtures, and layout — or let our design team handle it for you.

Phase 2

Permitting

We submit your plans and manage the approval process with your local jurisdiction. This phase runs in the background while final details are locked in.

Phase 3

Construction

Your home is built. Every decision has already been made, and the build moves with purpose. Most homes are completed within 15 to 18 months from lot selection to move-in, though timelines can vary based on design complexity, client selections and decision-making, and local permitting.

Whether you want to choose every tile and finish yourself or let Paramount's design team handle the selections for you, we match the process to how you want to build.
